This Swedish built mini trawler has been a wonderful vessel for our family over the past 5 plus years.  She has served us well, allowing us to experience dozens of adventures throughout the southern gulf islands.

The original 25 hp Volvo MD2B still runs beautifully, consuming less than 3 litres of diesel per hour of cruising.  This equates to extremely cost effective travel.

“Puffin” is equipped with a small washroom, comfortable V-Berth, a reasonably sized galley as well as comfortable sleeping berths in the stern, making the boat ideal for a family of four.

Also included is a custom built tandem axle trailer with hydraulic surge brakes, a compass, VHF, depth sounder/fish finder, Espar heater (needs attention) and auto pilot.

Recent improvements include:

- New electric bilge pump

- New Jabsco head, custom holding tank and macerator pump for thru-hull discharge

- Replaced engine heads and exhaust manifolds through Gartside Marine

- Rebuilt alternator, starter motor and starter solenoid

- New Engine belts

- New batteries, one starting, one deep cycle.  New battery charger/monitor as well.

- New battery switch and battery cables

- Four new complete brake assemblies for trailer in addition to new master cylinder

- New propane tank and solenoid switch for Force 10 stove/oven and stern rail bbq.

- New Prop shaft bushing, part directly ordered from Albin in Sweden

There is also a 5hp Mercury outboard included, suitable for a dinghy and/or an auxiliary motor as there is a mount located off the swim grid.
