Alaska Bound 2010
Bill Ellis and John Wigen have set off this season bound for Alaska.

These locations are reported daily by John with a special device to report their location at the push of a button. This relays his GPS location to a service that emails this to a predefined list of email addresses.
The device John is using is called "SPOT Personal Tracker"
Bill started out from the Telegraph Harbor Albin meet in early June and headed to Desolation Sound to await John's departure from Anacortes, Washington State.

No reports for three days...
Mechanical break down limited the time window and didn't allow the arrival to Alaska.
All made it home safe and it was still a great trip despite the disappointment of not reaching the original destination.
