This 25-foot Albin Pocket Cruiser has taken us to the gulf islands, Desolation Sound, Toba Inlet, the Broughtons, and as far as Klemtu on the Central Coast among many other places. We have enjoyed the comfort of a fireplace and stove, excellent canvas, a buss heater, fridge/freezer, an auto pilot for long journeys and a windlass for anchoring. It has a Swedish name Var Bat, meaning “Our Boat”.

“Our Boat” was built in 1976 by Albin Marin, a Swedish boatbuilder based in Kristinehamn. Between 1968 and 1981, they built over 2,000 of these iconic, fuel-efficient pocket cruisers. It features a semi-displacement hull and is trailerable.

“Our Boat” is in great condition, with an ongoing series of upgrades, new engine, new Raymarine wheelpilot, Raymarine windlass, holding tank, stainless steel grabrail, swim platform, and a new bonding system.

“Our Boat” was surveyed in 2023, where hull and machinery were listed with fair market value of $32,000.

• Canvas in excellent condition. The boat has been stored under cover from October to May each year
